Bio: LeClair, who was born in Massachusetts and now lives in Scarborough, received a BFA in painting from the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston and has exhibited her work throughout New England in group shows and solo exhibitions. She calls the works on show in Bridgton “abstract studies in composition and color.” Her paintings are small, brightly colored compositions with obvious influences from early works by American abstract expressionists such as Adolph Gottlieb and Mark Rothko.
