Exploring the Source

The fourth Exploring the Source reading series was an open mic reading. We started with a collage of thoughful poems from Marjorie, who has thankfully become a staple of these events. Next, Don Stanford returned with two original poems including Two Shadows which was freshly created the previous night. Carmel returned with her empassioned delivery to share Union Dues, which is expecially poignant in these trying times. Then George delivered a thought provoking poem that delved deep into spirituality. Johnny took us on a journey that passed through Vietnam, Arizona, and those Bush years with his own unique perspective and awareness. Jim finished up the reading with a personal poem entitled His America
